Code of Conduct

Rene Deleurme Center Code of Conduct 

All staff, students, caregivers, community members and occupants are expected to treat one another with respect in addition to support the learning goals and growth of all who access services and supports at the René Deleurme Centre. Our conduct of conduct includes but it not limited to the following: 

1. Respect and Dignity 

  • Treat all individuals with respect and dignity, regardless of their background, beliefs, or circumstances. 
  • Use inclusive and non-discriminatory language in all communications. 

2. Commitment to Learning and Success 

  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and personal growth. 
  • Do your best in all activities and support others in achieving their goals. 

3. Integrity and Honesty 

  • Act with integrity and honesty in all interactions and decisions. 
  • Be transparent and accountable for your actions. 

4. Safety and Well-being 

  • Prioritize the safety and well-being of yourself and others. 
  • Follow all safety protocols and report any concerns promptly. 

5. Collaboration and Teamwork 

  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment. 
  • Work together to achieve common goals and resolve conflicts constructively. 

6. Confidentiality and Privacy 

  • Respect the confidentiality and privacy of all individuals. 
  • Handle sensitive information with care and discretion. 

7. Professionalism 

  • Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions. 
  • Uphold the standards and values of the Rene Deleurme Center. 

8. Responsibility and Accountability 

  • Take responsibility for your actions and their impact on others. 
  • Model respect for people in positional authority, and RDC 
  • Be accountable for fulfilling your roles and responsibilities. 
  • Model respect for RDC and divisional policies and implement required policy responses.
