Application Process
High School (Secondary) Application Process (Grades 9 to 12)
Step 1:
Submit application online. A $250 application fee applies and must be paid at the time of submission. Only complete and paid applications will be considered.
Step 2:
An email confirms approval, and an invoice is generated based on the information in the application.
Step 3:
Make minimum payment. A minimum payment is required to receive the Letter of Acceptance used to apply for a visa or study permit, if applicable. All program fees, including tuition, medical insurance and homestay fees, if applicable, are due 90 days prior to program start. Failure to pay all fees on time may result in cancellation of the acceptance letter and reporting to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. Contact the Program to request a voluntary withdrawal, if necessary.
Step 4:
Confirm Study Permit approval and flight information at least one month before program start. Requests for a deferral, due to delayed visa processing, can be sent to goglobal@lrsd.net. An administrative fee may apply.
Step 5:
Submit a copy of the Custodianship Declaration, if necessary, and confirm Winnipeg address.
NOTE: Custodianship is provided for students who live with a Program homestay family. Students who do not in a Program homestay must identify a legal custodian and submit a copy of the Custodianship Declaration to the Program. Custodian Declarations must be uploaded or sent to the International Program office. Students must present the Custodian Declaration at the Port of Entry to Canada. All minor international students must live with an adult over 30.

Post-secondary Application Process (Arts and Technology Centre Technical/Vocational Programs)
Step 1:
Submit application online. A $250 application fee applies and must be paid at the time of submission. Only complete and paid applications will be considered.
Step 2:
An email confirms approval, and an invoice is generated based on the information in the application.
Step 3:
Make minimum payment. A minimum payment is required to issue the Letter of Acceptance used to apply for a visa or study permit (if applicable). This deposit is applied against the total amount of tuition owing. Once the deposit payment has been confirmed, a Letter of Acceptance will be issued. Program fees (tuition and medical insurance) are due 90 days prior to program start. Failure to pay all fees on time may result in cancellation of the acceptance letter and reporting to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. Contact the Program to request a voluntary withdrawal, if necessary.
Step 4:
Apply for Study Permit, Work Permit (for practicum work experience) and/or Visa, is applicable. Confirm Study Permit at least one month before program start. Failure to provide a Study Permit on time may result in the cancellation of admission.
