MAG Community Update - September 13th
Hi everyone,
We have now made it through the first full week of school, including welcoming all of kindergarten students together for the first time today. Here are a few bits of news and reminders for our school community…
Student Information System and School Fees:
We are still waiting on the launch of certain features of the new PowerSchool information system, as well as the School Cash application that will allow us to continue with online payments. If you are receiving emails or information from anyone other than the school or the school division, please ignore them. We will send out an update when everything is activated. Student Accident Insurance:

Update on Cell Phone Policy:
Although things have been going smoothly at school, we continue to seek feedback from students and families on the government’s new cell phone policy and its application at MAG. We have added a question about smart watches as well, and encourage you to provide feedback on .
Other notices:
- A reminder to please respect student drop-off and pick-up guidelines. Most importantly, by NOT entering the back lane or staff parking lot daily between 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.
- We are starting an e-sports program for some older students at school. If any community members have gaming consoles that they would be willing to donate, please let us know.
